LSG INDUSTRY DIRECTORY — COMPANY IMPORT GUIDE

1. Download directory-template.csv and open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
2. Keep the header row unchanged. Add one company per row.
3. Save as UTF-8 CSV; upload at /directory/admin/ > Import & export.
4. Validate, correct any reported row errors, then import.
5. Review draft listings and publish from Companies. Import does not publish automatically.

REQUIRED COLUMNS
name: Company name, max 140 characters.
website: Public company website, max 500 characters. One listing per website domain.
summary: Short company description, max 240 characters.
industries: One or more exact labels below, separated by |.
company_type: One exact type below.
country: Use a consistent country name, such as United States.

capabilities: Specialties / keywords, max 600 characters.
contact_name: PRIVATE admin contact, max 140 characters.
contact_email: PRIVATE admin contact, valid email address.
contact_phone: PRIVATE admin contact, max 60 characters.

LIMITS
Up to 500 rows / 1.5 MB per file. For larger directories, import in batches.
Duplicates within the file and existing website domains block the import.
No rows are saved if there are validation errors. Imports do not overwrite existing listings.
Private contact fields never appear on public profiles.
Use only accurate company information that you have permission to publish.
